John Slater

Group Managing Director

John Slater joined the Group Board in 2007, bringing extensive experience of marketing, sales and leadership within a plc environment to his role.

John’s customer-centric vision and experience in the new homes sector have seen him play an important role in the development of the Group’s homes divisions, ensuring that the customer is at the heart of all aspects of the planning, development, sales and aftercare cycle.

Key outcomes from the customer focused work streams led by John have included achieving five star status from the Home Builders Federation, based upon outstanding levels of customer satisfaction, and the development of the Group’s design standards for excellence which ensure that good design is embedded within all aspects of new homes developments.

John previously worked for national house builder Bovis Homes Group plc for 10 years, joining in 1997 and holding the positions of Marketing Director and then Sales & Marketing Director in its South West region before being appointed Managing Director for its East region in 2002. Prior to this, he spent a decade in the oil and gas industry, having originally trained as an engineer.

Paul Challinor

Managing Director

Paul was promoted to the role of Managing Director of Stewart Milne Homes North West England in September 2015 after joining the business earlier that year as Finance Director.

Prior to this Paul spent 8 years at Morris Homes as Group Regional Finance Director and has a wealth of experience in managing a business for growth both within the construction industry and within an international travel plc.
 

Ian Carroll

Commercial Director

Ian, a quantity surveyor, joined Stewart Milne Homes in 1998, being promoted to a senior surveyor position before becoming development manager in 2005.

His new role puts him in a key position for delivering the on-going success of the company.

Martin Leake

Construction Director

Martin joined in January 2008 and brings with him over 25 years experience in the industry.

Prior to joining Stewart Milne Homes, Martin held the role of Construction Director with a major North West housebuilder working on projects ranging from apartments to detached homes.

Stephen Daintith

Land Director

Stephen Daintith joined Stewart Milne Homes North West England in 2010.

Stephen qualified as Chartered Town Planner in 1998 and has 18 years’ experience of buying land for national Housebuilder’s including Redrow and Taylor Wimpey.

He has gained extensive experience in land acquisition and delivery of planning permission’s throughout his career. As Land Director Stephen is responsible for the identification and acquisition of land opportunities for the North West Business.

Eamonn McInerney

Sales Director

Eamonn joined Stewart Milne Homes North West England in March 2015 and brings with him over 25 years’ experience within the industry

Prior to joining Stewart Milne Homes, Eamonn held the role as National Sales Director for Keepmoat Homes and has also held Sales and Marketing Director positions with several of the UKs leading house builders

As Sales Director Eamonn is responsible for defining and executing Sales strategies to achieve the planned business growth for the North West Division.
