Transport links

Commuting is fast and simple: transport links include the M53 motorway, which runs between Chester and the Kingsway Tunnel, bringing you to the heart of Liverpool. Alternatively, you might wish to take the ferry across the Mersey.

Living Life

Besides the local shops, there’s an excellent variety of retail outlets in nearby Chester. If you want even greater choice, go four miles north to Birkenhead, with its excellent shopping facilities, including the vast Pyramids shopping centre.

The many attractions of the Wirral are all close at hand. Sports facilities include the Royal Liverpool Golf Club in Hoylake, which hosted the Open Championship in 2014. The Wirral Sailing Centre at West Kirby Marine Lake is totally enclosed and non-tidal, offering a wide range of activities for all ages and levels of experience.

For gardeners, the award-winning Ness Botanic Gardens overlooking the Dee Estuary, is an idyllic spot. And three Wirral beaches (Meols, More and West Kirby) were officially among the best in Britain, boasting an ‘excellent’ rating in the 2015 Good Beach Guide.
