Gadloch Green is perfectly positioned in the rural village of Auchinloch less than 7 miles from Glasgow via the M80, providing quick and easy access for travelling. A regular bus service is available from Auchinloch to Glasgow and beyond and the nearest railway station is in the neighbouring town of Lenzie, approximately 1 mile away, which is on the Glasgow to Edinburgh mainline.

Living Life

The popular Golden Pheasant family friendly bar and restaurant, local shop and primary school are all within walking distance of Gadloch Green making it ideal for family life. There is an array of golf courses to choose from, including Lenzie Golf Club which is on your doorstep. Neighbouring towns of Lenzie and Kirkintilloch offer even more shopping, dining and leisure facilities. Why not stop in at the farmers market in Kirkintilloch for all your local ingredients, and where you will find your nearest supermarket.

There’s an abundance of activities and attractions within a short drive of Auchinloch, including the Seven Lochs Wetland Park, only 10 minutes drive away and destined to become Scotland’s largest urban nature park. Boasting 20 square km of lochs, parks, nature reserves and woodlands between Glasgow and Coatbridge the park offers an exciting range of things to see and do. Drumpellier Country Park, approx. 15 minutes drive away has a great range of facilities including an adventure playground, seasonal funboat hire and nature trails that make a great family day out.

If you prefer a slower pace, you can explore the outdoors with the many woodland and nature walks around the local area, taking in the Lenzie Moss or Merkland Nature Reserves. The iconic Wallace Well is also close by where William Wallace was said to enjoy his last drink as a free man on his way to Glasgow.
